How do I use custom fields in marketing automation?
Custom fields within marketing automation work the same as in contact settings. You can assign or remove a custom field to individual subscribers within a marketing automation workflow. The action element works like all elements of this type.
When you include the Custom field action in your workflow, you need to decide if you want to remove or assign the field to a subscriber. You can select which of the existing custom fields to use. For each element, you can choose only one custom field. If you want to operate on a larger number of custom fields you just need to add more elements to your workflow.
Some of the custom fields have predefined values you can choose from. For some of them, you need to enter values by hand.
