Do I have to ask contacts to confirm subscription?
We do recommend using confirmation email to improve campaign results, deliverability and to keep your list clean. However, you have the ability to disable confirmation emails for contacts subscribing via web form, e-mail or API. The instructions on this can be found here.
All imports are single opt-in, meaning that we will add your subscribers to your list without sending them a confirmation email or asking them to click a link to verify their subscription. We are assuming that you have the permission of every subscriber on the list you are importing. The contacts added via contacts>>add contacts are not asked to confirm the subscription either.
